During 60 years, M.D. Anderson has created an excellent reputation in cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. This is all thanks to the faculty, staff, generous volunteers and community members who donate their precious time.

About 3,200 students are enrolled in this educational system that includes physicians, scientist, nurses and others health professionals. M.D. Anderson offers bachelor?s degrees in health disciplines, training in investigation and treatment of cancer.

The School of Health Science of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center graduates an average of fifty students each year in areas such as Clinical Laboratory Science, Cytogenetic Technology, Cytotechnology, Histotechnology, Medical Dosimetry, Molecular Genetic Technology and Radiation Therapy.

Students graduated earn a certificate or Bachelor of Science degree that ensures a comprehensive education with a spectrum of laboratory testing and radiation treatment procedures.

The Biomedical Science School provides studies en Behavioral, Cancer Biology, Pathology, Virology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Toxicology, and much more.

Prevention is the best to eliminate cancer for that reason the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is always researching in epidemiology and behavioral sciences and complement achievements made in the clinical cancer prevention area.
