Amarillo College (AC) provides academic and technical programs in small classes for morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend schedules. The transfer program gives students the opportunity to complete the first two years of a bachelor?s degree.

Amarillo College has three associate degrees available that take two academic years and some certificates of completion that can be done in one academic year.
The Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degrees offers career options in Nursing and Pre-Nursing, Pharmacy and Pre-Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Pre-Physical Therapy.
The Associate of Applied Science Degrees is a program designed to prepare students to enter a career directly upon completion of the program. This program offers studies in Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Services Professions, Medical Laboratory Technology, Mortuary Science, Nuclear Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiation Therapy, Radiology, Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
Certificate of Completion is designed for the technical and health occupations areas such as Emergency Medical Services Professions, Medical Data Specialist, Mortuary Science, Nursing, Pharmacy Technology and Surgical Technology.
Amarillo College also has Adult Students Program, which provides financial assistance, scholarships, childcare, transportation and textbook lending program to students.
