Arapahoe Community College was the first two-year college in Denver founded in 1965. It is a premier community college in Colorado with over 7,500 students and 70 degree and certificate programs.

Health Academy Department offers training for health careers in Activities Professional, Medical Office Technology, Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician and Phlebotomy in as little time as 3 months.
Activities Professional work is focused on what is right with the person. Nurse Aid works under the direction of a nurse to provide personal care to patients. Pharmacy Technicians are prepared to assist pharmacists with the technical tasks, and in Phlebotomy are the people who do venipunctures.
