Bristol Community College (BCC) is a two-year, comprehensive community college, which provides educational opportunity and solid career preparation in southeastern Massachusetts.
BCC offers more than 90 programs for associate degrees in science, arts, applied science and also certificates and transfer programs.
Bristol Community several campuses, one is located in suburban Fall River, another is the New Bedford at Star Store and the satellite campuses include the Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School in New Bedford, Attleboro High School in Attleboro and the Taunton High School in located in Taunton.
Certificate programs can be completed in one year. In health field, BCC has a certificate in Medical Assisting that prepares practitioners with clinical, administrative and managerial skills and to work medical offices and clinics.
In the same program is the Phlebotomy Certificate that provides students with the knowledge to perform routine and special blood collection procedures as well as process the specimens prior to testing in a modern clinical laboratory.
Degree program includes study programs in Clinical Laboratory Science, Dental Hygiene and Nursing.
In addition, BCC has student services such as: financial Aid, orientation, academic advising, tutoring, academic support center, counseling, job placement services, dental hygiene clinic, health insurance and fitness center.
