Bunker Hill Community College

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) was founded in 1973 and today enrolls more than 7,800 students for day, evening, weekend, web-based and distance learning classes and programs.

Its main campus is in Charlestown, Boston but it also has a campus near of Chelsea and five satellites in Cambridge, Chinatown, Revere, Somerville and South of Boston.

BHCC offers more than 65 associate degrees and certificate programs preparing students to transfer to four-year universities. There are also multi-cultural and international perspectives integrated in the courses, programs and the environment of Bunker Hill Community College.

Study programs at BHCC include Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees and certificate programs.

The Associate in Science program includes careers like the Medical Imaging Program with the Cardiac Sonography Option, General Sonography Option, Medical Radiography Option, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. It also offers Nursing and Pharmacy Technology programs.

The Certificate program offers courses for Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician and Surgical Technology.

Student services at Bunker Hill Community College consist in academic resources, student activities, student support and technology resources.

Academic resources include the library, bookstore, tutoring and academic support center, academic computing center, student success program, adult basic education, prior learning assessment and center for self-directed learning.

Its student activities include athletic programs such as women?s and men?s soccer, baseball and basketball and students clubs like spirit club, the real life club, hospitality club, business club, multicultural club and more.
