North-West College: Educating to Succeed

North-West College is located in five strategic areas: West Covina, Pomona, Pasadena, Glendale and Riverside. In this college there have been around 35,000 graduates since the day that they opened their doors in 1966. During most of this time the institution has been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.

They offer their students the possibility of getting prepared in a great variety of courses in diverse fields. For example, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, massage therapy, eye care and medical administration.

Furthermore, this college is not only recognized by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the industry for internship programs and graduate employment services, they are also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Schools and Vocational Education. They are also approved to train State Vocational Rehabilitation students and veterans.

The benefits of the college include the fact that all courses are supervised by doctors, dentists, pharmacists, paralegals and accountants, and that they are endorsed by hospitals, clinics, particular dentists and doctors, optometrists, lawyers, accountants and clerical professionals for internship affiliation and graduate employment. Besides, the college participates in the GAIN and ROP Programs.

Students who want to apply for the admission process are invited to go on a tour with the Admission Representative who is going to realize what the student is really looking for.

At the beginning of this tour, the students will fill-out all the corresponding papers. If a student needs financial aid, it is possible to have an appointment with the Financial Aid Officer once the admission process is complete. Approximately 10 days after the date when the application form is presented North-West College will send the student an acceptance letter by mail.
