In 1976 Carroll Community College opened its doors being a branch campus of Catonsville Community College. Their first graduating college class was held in 1994.
In order to be registered in Carroll it is imperative to go through the process of applying for admission. For that, students must fill out the Credit Enrollment Application form. Other kinds of applicants such as international students and those who are willing to ask for credit for prior learning and advance placement programs should take a look at special and unique admission programs.
Two years ago, the creation of the Nursing and Allied Health buildings marked the beginning of a new story for Carroll. The Division of Allied Health covers a great variety of study programs such as Dental Hygiene and Nursing, which at the same time is subdivided into 4 different classifications: Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology and Emergency Medical Services, which is organized in 3 categories, Healthy and Exercise Science, Respiratory Therapy and Surgical.
Campus security, a Business Center, a Child Care Center, a Theater, Art Galleries, a Fitness Center and Gym, Computer Labs, a Bookstore and a Library and Cafeteria stand out among the benefits that are at the disposal of their students.
