Casper College: Where Students Come First!

In 1962, when Casper College was founded in Casper, Wyoming their purpose was to create a non-profit institution which backers could help. The growth and development of the institution that the benefactors originated helped students in an exceptional way by supporting significant events, funding scholarships and developing campaigns for important projects. At Casper students can choose among a wide variety of majors, they offer 30 technical and career field options and 50 academic majors.

They offer degree opportunities in six different areas within the Health Science Department; which is housed in the Saunders Health Science Center. The six Health Science areas that they offer are: Activities Professional, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Radiography and Respiratory Therapy. Furthermore this college provides career opportunities in all the above mentioned areas excluding Activities Professional. A degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is now available.

Casper is accredited by many recognized associations that trust in their labors. Some of these associations are: the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.
