Central Carolina Community College was constituted as such in 1963; however, the first curriculum classes were given on September, 1962. The fact that the main campus of the College, which is located in Sanford, North Carolina, is very huge allows them to offer a real education of quality. They provide their students with a wide range of resources such as 177,000 square feet of class rooms, shop and laboratory space. Other campuses such as the Central Carolina Community College?s Lee County, the Central Carolina Community College?s Harnett County and the Central Carolina Community College?s Chatham County are enormous too.
At Central Carolina Community College, different kinds of programs are available. They involve two-year programs leading to an Associate of Applied Science Degree, one-year program leading to a diploma, the Associate in Arts and in Science Degree programs that give the possibility of transferring to a four-year university, and non-credit courses in adult basic education and adult high school.
