Central Community College - Grand Island: No More Is Needed

Grand Island Campus, one of the three main campuses of Central Community College, is located at the South edge of Grand Island, Nebraska. Besides offering 16 career education programs, this institution gives the chance of taking academic transfer courses in 18 different areas to individuals who are willing to attend the College for two years and then, to transfer to a four-year college or university. This Campus offers a wide-ranging variety of Health Care Careers such as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Practical Nursing, Radiology Technology, Registered Nursing, Respiratory Care Technology and Surgical Technician.

The Practical Nursing program is accredited by the Nebraska Board of Nursing.  Moreover, students of this college can get a St. Francis Medical Center bachelor?s degree in Radiation Science Technology. Also, the Associate Degree Nursing Program is approved and accredited by the Bureau of Examining Board of the Nebraska Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.  All these facts, definitely, demonstrate the high-quality of the programs offered in Grand Island

Some of the services students enrolled in this campus have at their disposal are bookstore, campus housing, career and employment services, child care, financial aid, library and TRiO, which is a program that helps students get a diploma or a degree. TRiO is an extremely useful support for students reaching their academic goals because it provides students, who qualify, with a wide diversity of particular services such as precollege summer program, counseling, academic monitoring, computer-assisted academic support, cultural activities and physical disability advocacy and assistance. In addition, and as if it were not enough, students registered half time, at least, are able to apply for student loans, work study and scholarships.
