Clatsop Community College: An Equal Opportunity Institution

Clatsop Community College is located at the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon. It is a public two-year institution that was founded in 1958. Today, the college has an enrollment of more than 10,000 students. You would not believe all that you can do at Clatsop. There, earning a 2-year degree, transferring to a 4-year college/university, taking courses that lead to social, personal and occupational competence and enrolling in workshops, classes and seminars that confer many benefits is a reality.

Clatsop Community College has received important accreditation from many accrediting agencies. The Commission on Colleges and Universities as well as the Northwest Association of Schools and of Colleges and Universities has given them credit. Obviously, this confers you recognition when looking for a job or trying to get enrolled in other institutions.

Regardless of your academic and professional goals and the type of degree that you are looking for, Clatsop is there to help in the most comprehensive way. Associate of Applied Science Degrees are offered in some health related programs of study. Nursing is one of them. In addition, their Applied Science Certificate Programs provide you with the abilities and experience needed to succeed in the health field. Medical Assistance and Practical Nursing are enclosed in this type of certificates.

If all this seems to be so perfect that it is definitely not affordable for you, you are on the very wrong track.  Scholarships and Financial Aid are at your disposal if you qualify. But, how do you qualify? It may vary; nevertheless it is based on key factors such as the GPA and the major or courses of study.

Remember that in CCC, everybody has a chance. Everybody is given the opportunity to succeed. The only requisites that they ask from you are to find an appropriate program that can satisfy your expectations and to get enrolled now!!
