The Medical Assistant program prepares students to become entry-level employees in a variety of medical facilities. This is achieved via classroom and clinical hands-on training, as well as professional development. Graduates possess clinical and administrative skills, i.e. EKG's Injections, Examinations, Patient Histories, Vital Signs, Insurance, and Billing, which enable them to perform both front and back office procedures in a physician's private practice, group medical practice, and long-term medical care facilities. A career as a medical assistant will enable one to have a stepping stone to possible future careers in medicine.
Financial Aid is available to qualified students and can be structured to make the healthcare careers of tomorrow affordable today.

About the Academy of Health Care Professions
The Academy of Health Care Professions is dedicated to empowering individuals with the skills to succeed in a rewarding career in the allied health care fields. Knowledge and proficiency are attained through demonstration; actual operation of equipment; and practice of learned techniques within the actual health care workplaces of potential employers.
It is our goal to provide students with the skills, knowledge and technical proficiency that will make them employable or to advance in their allied health care field of choice. Our mission is to help students so that they may graduate and through their efforts in the healthcare workplace help others improve their quality of life.
Each Academy campus is a modern, technical, healthcare, career institute small enough to be concerned with individual student progress, yet large enough to provide needed resources. The students work with equipment and instruments relative to their field of study.
Classrooms are unique per program and are conducted under the supervision of approved faculty. Class enrollment is limited to ensure that students receive personal attention in classes. A portion of most programs is spent as an intern in an off-campus environment practicing skills in a supervised workplace. The Academy of Health Care Professions strives to minimize training time by focusing its curriculum primarily on the skills needed to succeed in today's allied healthcare work place.
Faculty are friendly experienced healthcare professionals who are dedicated to each student's goal of achieving certification in his/her field of study. Our customer service oriented staff is available to assist with student needs including career placement assistance, financial aid assistance, counseling, and questions.
