Founded in 1979 in Tempe, Arizona, we used to be called Apollo College of Medical and Dental Assistants. Originally offering courses for Medical Secretaries as well as Medical and Dental Assisting, our curriculum has expanded exponentially.
Our campus is now located in beautiful Mesa, Arizona. The open, well-equipped campus provides a professional environment allowing students an opportunity to practice complex clinical competencies in the safety of classroom laboratories.
Under the careful and caring guidance of our skilled instructors, students gain proficiency in the use of specialized medical instrumentation and equipment, including: hoyer lifts, electrocardiographic machines, X-RAY machines, mechanical ventilators, automated dental chairs, prosthetic devices and a wide array of other state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.

Established in 1985, the Portland campus is convenient for both Oregon and Washington residents and is accessible by major highways and public transportation including the light rail.
Energizing and exciting, our campus has expanded the curriculum and now offers eight programs of study to meed the employment needs of the Portland and Vancouver health care communities. With a state-of-the-art training facility, our campus is easily accessible from eastbound or westbound I-90. Our highly qualified, skilled instructors are individually selected from the local, professional community. Combining real life experience with academic theory and background, our customized training and education ensures our students receive the finest relevant instruction available in the Northwest.
Founded by our President, Margaret M. Carlson in 1984, the Tucson campus has high-tech equipment to support the training of each medical program including: specialized medical equipment, microscopes, electrocardiograph machines, autoclaves, anatomical charts, and a vast array of other laboratory and multi-functional equipment. A variety of audiovisual equipment, as well as, modem computers, are available for instructional purposes.
Our classrooms are designed to provide the optimum learning conditions for our students and are air-conditioned to provide for maximum comfort during the balmy Arizona summertime. Our Administrative offices consist of: the Admissions Department, the Financial Aid Department, the Placement Office, the Office of the Registrar, as well as the Director's Office.
Since 1984, the Tucson campus has expanded to meet growing needs of the community and now offers seven programs of study including two associate degree programs.
The Boise campus of Apollo College is centrally located near many of the city's health care facilities and occupies approximately 30,000 square feet of modern classroom and office space. The college is carpeted, air-conditioned, and well lighted. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Students will find access convenient with bus service stopping close by. Each program is taught in modern classrooms and laboratories that include all the necessary equipment and supplies to support the programs. In addition, the college partners with various health care facilities to support the program.
Reference books, periodicals, multi-media, computers with Internet access, are available in the college library. In addition, the college subscribes to an on-line library service. There are areas for studying and relaxing as well as a patio area outside of the building. The facilities at the Boise Campus of Apollo College are handicapped accessible.
