Adirondack Community College is part of the State University of New York accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Schools. This college offers extensive Associate degree and Certificate programs and has transfer agreements with many colleges and universities.

ACC?s campus, which is located in Queensbury, New York, includes small classes, assorted clubs and athletics, dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art technology. It has two convenient locations, an accredited child care center and assorted clubs and athletics. Best of all is the affordable price.

ACC Nursing program is approved by the New York Board of Education and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. To complete the program the graduates must fulfill the required preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing.

The requirement to take the Licensure Examination is to have taken the Regents Biology 103 and Chemistry 103 within the last five years and a Math course include in the nursing study program.

As part of the admissions program, students should be put under physical examination, TB test, CPR certification and personal professional liability insurance. They also must have Hepatitis B and Varicella vaccine applied.

If you are interested on becoming a nurse, you can pick up the admission form in the Faculty Secretary?s office in the Health Sciences Division.
