Cape Fear Community College is located on the banks of Cape Fear River in Wilmington, North Carolina .They serve 27,000 students per year. This is certainly associated to the fact that they have an important position among the 59 largest community colleges in North Carolina.
Their Health Sciences Department is a division of their Technical/Vocational Programs. Health Sciences involve the following majors: Associate Degree Nursing (RN), Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Medical Sonograms, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Phlebotomy, Practical Nursing (LPN) and Radiography. Each major has its own and corresponding requirements.

This college offers free continuing education programs like basic skills, adult literacy and high school, preparation in GED and English as a second language.
