Carolinas College of Health Sciences: Distinction and Superiority

Carolinas College of Health Sciences is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This institution arose due to the necessity of creating a School of Nursing that the Carolinas HealthCare System (at that time The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority (CMHA) detected. 

As noticed, this College is exclusively focused on health. Students may find: an Introduction to Healthcare Program, which is a 26-hour course; Community Training Center ? Life Support Courses, which operates in coordination with Carolina Healthcare System Community Training Center (CTC); Medical Technology, a certificate program that lasts 12-months; an AAS in Nursing and Radiology Technology; 125 and 200-hour programs leading to a certificate in Nurse Aide I and Phlebotomy given by the School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Besides, Paramedic Education has been included recently. 

In Carolinas accreditation and recognition by known organisms is a reality. CCHS is approved by the N.C. Board of Nursing (for the program of Nursing), the N.C. Division of Facility Services (for Nurse Aide I program), the N.C. State Approving Agency for Veterans Benefits and the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Carolinas College of Health Sciences confer students the benefit of giving financial aid when required. Individuals who are registered in one study program in the institution may apply for one type of aid program.

Some of these programs are: the Federal Pell Grant Program, the Federal Family Educational Loan Program ? Federal Stafford Loan and Federal PLUS (Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students), the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program and the Federal Work-Study.
