Chandler-Gilbert Community College: Nothing Else to Ask for

Chandler-Gilbert Community College is made up of three campuses located in three different strategic places in Arizona.  They are the Williams Campus, located in Mesa, the Sun Lakes Education Center, that serves people in the Sun Lakes community, and finally, Pecos Campus, which housed the beginning of CGCC.  Later on, they extended a bit in order to serve other sites.  This last campus is really comprehensive due to the fact that it encompasses around 250,000 square feet of facilities.  In Pecos, they offer a wide-ranging list of programs, services and resources, including the Performing Arts Center, library, Student Center, special interest courses and programs, occupational, general studies, university transfer, healthcare, wellness programs and various plentiful associate degrees.

People who feel attracted to programs of study related to health are going to be completely satisfied with the variety of areas of study that are at their disposal in CGCC.  In the Division of Wellness, programs like home and healthcare rehabilitation and injury prevention are offered.  Furthermore, as a complement of this Division, Pecos Fitness Center focuses on cardiovascular training activities.  The programs offered in this Division enclose Alternative Medicine, Dietetic Technology and Nutrition, Health Care and Therapeutic Massage.  One fundamental feature of the programs and courses given in CGCC is that most of them have received good accreditation by many recognized organizations and institutions.  As examples, the Alternative Medicine program has been approved by the Arizona Nurses Association, and the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association has also given credit to the Dietetic Technology program.  Moreover, CGCC is sure that employment is not going to be a difficulty once students graduate because, usually, CGCC works in conjunction with Registered Dietitians.  Thus, students are able to find a position in different main settings such as Clinical, Food Service, Community and Public Health, Wellness and Business.  Besides accreditation, variety and good employment opportunities, what else can you ask for?
