Olive-Harvey College: Making Your Dreams Come True!

Olive-Harvey College is a product of the unification of the Southeast and Fenger Colleges; both were part of the City Colleges of Chicago. When this happened, the name and location of the resulting school changed. However, in 1981 they moved most of their operations to a newer main building.  Today, Olive-Harvey College is part of City Colleges of Chicago.

At Olive-Harvey, degrees are divided in two different types, Transfer Degrees and Career Degrees. The Transfer Degrees are designed to be taken in order to complete two-year general studies. This is done with the purpose of transferring to Baccalaureate (four-year) institutions. Likewise, these degrees are offered in two categories, Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS). On the other hand, Career Degrees allow you to find career entry upon completion.  This sort of degree is only offered as Associates of Applied Science (AAS).  AAS are offered in various careers in areas related to health such as Nursing and Respiratory Care, fields in which lots of professionals are demanded today.  Furthermore, they are extremely self-satisfactory and well-paid.

Olive-Harvey is also concerned about being able to provide you with the best student services because they strongly believe in an integral student growth. Student Success Center, library, advisement, Transfer Center, tutoring, Disability Advocacy Services, Child Development Lab, job placement opportunities, bookstore and financial aid are available at this college.

If you want to get enrolled in this institution due to the fact that you have realized about all the fundamental advantages that are at your disposal, then, check out if you are eligible. You must have graduated from an accredited high school, have a G.E.D. certification and 18 years of age as a minimum and be a transfer of another institution. With OHC, it is easy to get where dreamed, right?
