Cleveland State Community College: Your Wondeful Opportunity!

Cleveland State Community College (CSCC) is located in Cleveland, Tennessee. It is a public institution that serves around 5,000 students per semester. Around 94 % of their faculty members hold Master or Doctor degrees. The institution is located in a 105-acre campus in which 10 main buildings, student activity centers and labs are housed. They count on a wide variety of recreational opportunities, service facilities and resources such as a great library, athletic fields, a multi-media center of emphasis, tennis courts, a satellite downlink receiver, a large reflector telescope, computer labs, a 400-seat theater and a 3,000-seat gymnasium. Their service area encloses Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Polk Counties and Monroe.

If what you are looking is to get into the health field, Cleveland is the most appropriate place for you to get prepared. Among the wide-ranging number of Divisions of this college, the Health & Wellness Division is the one in charge of providing you with the greatest list of health related programs. This list is categorized in two main classifications: the Nursing Department and the Allied Health and Wellness. The programs of Emergency Medical Technology and Health and Physical Education and Recreation are included in this last classification. On the other hand, the Nursing program has received approval from the Tennessee Board of Nursing and accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. If you are willing to get enrolled in this program, it may be crucial that you know that it is not particularly designed for you to transfer to 4-year colleges/universities. However, several other institutions may accept at least part of the CSCC course work for the baccalaureate degree offered in those institutions.

The admission to the Nursing program is very competitive and is completely based on the score that the applicant gets in a readiness evaluation. It is necessary to fill-out the corresponding application form, provide transcripts of previous high-schools/colleges or presenting a GED equivalent diploma. Financial aid, scholarships and loans are also at your disposal in this program. If you have just fallen in love with these programs, there is no excuse for you to refuse this wonderful opportunity! Join Cleveland State Community College.
