Job Placement:

Financial Aid:
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. To find out if you are eligible for assistance, contact a Financial Aid Representative at the City College campus you wish to attend. The representative will ask you to bring along certain financial information. Together, you’ll assess the cost of your education; find federal grants, loans, state aid, veterans benefits, private loans, work study, scholarships; and make a determination how much of your costs may be covered through financial assistance.

Accreditation:
City College is a Senior College accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Diplomas, Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. ACICS is located at 750 First Street NE, Suite 980, Washington, DC 20002-4241, tel. (202) 336-6780.

Admissions:
City College welcomes applications from qualified students who desire an education that will enrich their lives and equip them with skills to begin productive careers and a successful future. A "rolling admissions" policy governs most City College programs. Most degree programs may commence at any given term.

Applicants must complete the City College Admissions Application. Students should apply at the campus where they plan to attend. All applicants must have proof of high school completion. Acceptable proof of completion includes a standard high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma (GED).

Official transcripts must be provided to the Academic Department prior to enrollment but no later than 30 days after the start of the initial term of enrollment. Transfer students must provide official transcripts from all colleges attended no later than thirty (30) days after the start of their first term at City College.

Successful completion of an entrance/placement examination is required of all applicants. The Director of Education has the authority to waive the examination requirement of an applicant who has satisfactorily completed the minimum or equivalent of an associate's degree at the post-secondary level.
